Kitchener-Waterloo Gymnastics offers both men’s and women’s gymnastics at a competitive level. Providing more training hours than recreational classes, and a pathway to an elite level, competitive gymnastics challenges athletes to strive for personal excellence by means of hard work and resolute dedication.  

Competitive Gymnastics

MAG

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics focuses on the disciplines of High Bars, Parallel Bars, Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings and Vault. The KW Gymnastics Club Boys Program offers athletes an opportunity, to push themselves to their maximum potential leading to competition at the Regional, Provincial, and National level. Entrance to this program is by invitation only and starts at 6 years old. WAG

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics focuses on the disciplines of Beam, Uneven Bars, Floor and Vault. KW Gymnastics offers developmental programs leading to participation in the Ontario Competitive Program at Regional, Provincial, and national levels. Entrance to this program is by invitation only and starts at 4 years old. Click the link below to learn more about our programs.

Competitive Family Handbook

This document contains information for parents of athletes in the KWGC competitive gymnastics programs. Please be sure to read through this information thoroughly as it contains important information on fees and our policies and procedures. The handbook covers the following details:

All competitive gymnastics families are required to acknowledge their acceptance of KWGC’s membership policies, procedures and requirements, by signing and returning the Membership Agreement at the end of this document.

Competitive Events

Throughout the training season, KWGC will host events relevant to our competitive athletes and families. Details of these are communicated through a monthly newsletter (or sent separately) with links to sign up if necessary.

These events include our annual Gymathon, seasonal holiday parties, uniform orders, volunteer opportunities, and many moreFamilies can find and register for upcoming events through our JackRabbit calendar.

In addition to these opportunities, the majority of KWGC competitive athletes will compete at Meets and Mock Meets (internal practice competitions) throughout the season. These competition dates are confirmed with families in the annual calendar and through email.

*Developmental program athletes will not likely participate in competitions until they are in the Team 3 or Interclub groups.

Competitive Photos

Our competitive photos can be accessed through Pixieset. 

Each gallery listed on the page from the link below will have a unique login password that will be provided to you as a parent of a competitive athlete if your athlete was involved in the event that was photographed (i.e. WAG parents will get access to the WAG event, MAG parents to the MAG events, etc).
