The KW Gymnastics Club Men’s Artistic Program offers athletes an opportunity to push themselves to their maximum potential. Leading to competition at the Regional, Provincial, and National level. Our philosophy of “Excellence through effort” encourages all our athletes to strive for personal excellence by means of hard work and resolute dedication.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics channels masculine energy to develop power, strength, and control. Mastery of the six apparatus requires the skillful combination of balance, flexibility, acrobatics, coordination, and confidence.

Floor

an exercise in pure acrobatics, alternating between powerful tumbling series and the composure necessary for balance and strength elements.

Vault

A 25m sprint creates the necessary power to explode from the board before the dynamic push off the table, to generate greater height for rotations and flight before landing on the other side.

Pommel Horse

Routines mostly involve circling of the legs together and pendulous scissor swings with the legs split, spectacularly combining these movements while turning and traveling along the horse.

Rings

Difficult combination of strength and swinging elements requiring control, strength and balance in the forward and backward swings and strength holds.

Parallel Bars

routines require swinging above and below the bars with acrobatic flight, changes of direction and precise balances, ending in a dramatic dismount off the side or the end of the bars.

High Bar

A spectacular apparatus, largely due to the combination and variation of giant swings, acrobatic releases, and re-grasp flight elements. The high dismount from the bar allows the gymnast to show his acrobatic talents and landing prowess.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics allows athletes to:

  • Build strength, preparing the body for the challenges in life both in and out of gymnastics

  • Enhance coordination and agility allowing the body to move swiftly and powerfully

  • Develop posture and confident body movements

  • Challenge the mind and body to reach new goals

  • Develop healthy minds and bodies for now and later in life

The KW Gymnastics Club Boys Program offers athletes an opportunity, to push themselves to their maximum potential leading to competition at the Regional, Provincial, and National level.

Developmental Program

We also help to develop their enthusiasm for the sport, as well as, their confidence and self-esteem while at the same time helping them to develop good listening skills, work habits, and attentiveness.
