From its humble beginnings in a school gymnasium six decades ago to its current facility now, KW Gymnastics has been a leader in the Kitchener-Waterloo community. Located in the Victoria Hills area, KW Gymnastics is a not-for-profit organization, offering a variety of quality classes for extremely competitive prices. Marking our 60th anniversary, KWGC opened a second facility on Bruce St, expanding our offerings to the local community. Under the guidance of knowledgeable coaching and administrative staff, the gymnastics club has successfully produced quality athletes, promoting the success of all individuals both inside and outside of the gym.
Our programs help children achieve the physical fitness goals set in the Canadian Physical Activities Guidelines. We offer the vigorous-intensity activities children need to strengthen muscle and bone and improve general health in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
As a not-for-profit organization, KW Gymnastics operations are led by a professional staff who work in co-operation with a volunteer Board of Directors. The club is affiliated with Gymnastics Ontario, Gymnastics Canada and locally with the City of Kitchener’s Department of Community Services and the city of Waterloo’s Recreation and Leisure Services.
The reason we exist is to provide enhanced opportunities for all gymnasts to reach their maximum potential through innovative and quality programs.

Being in operation for over 60 years, KW Gymnastics is a home to over 3000 athletes a year. As of 2025, we now operate from two Kitchener locations.

Victoria
Our primary location, at 805 Victoria St S., between Fischer-Hallman Rd. and Westmount Rd. in Kitchener, is a large facility equipped with the latest specialized gymnastics apparatus.
This gym includes a full floor, multiple beams, a full-length vault, plenty of parallel, unparallel, and high bars, pommel horses, a set of rings, a trampoline, a tumble track, a foam pit and other equipment necessary to provide a safe training environment.
Bruce
Our second facility, opening Spring Session 2025, is located at 25 Bruce St, just off the expressway (Victoria St/Frederick), and is a custom-built gymnastics gymnasium for our younger athlete programs (10 months to 6 years).
Featuring multiple balance beams, a bar circuit, a full carpeted floor, along with an array of bright and fun equipment, this gymnasium is ideal for our Kinder and Parent-Assisted programs.
